Personal Biography
Bryan Price is a Programmer at 3-GIS in Decatur, AL. 3-GIS specializes in the 3rd generation of geographical information systems. What is that? Well that would be fat clients and thin servers. Web 2.0.
Bryan recently worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. He also worked for a non-profit organization in Anniston, AL developing web applications to enhance learning about Aerospace in elementary and secondary schools. Here are a few things Bryan has accomplished:
- 2004 – Voted Male “Most Likely To Succeed,” Saks High School c/o 2004
- 2004 – Salutatorian at Saks High School with Advanced + Honors Diploma
- 2005 – Participated in the Fall Programming Competition in Memphis, TN
- 2006 – Participated in the Spring Programming Competition in Nashville, TN
- 2006 – Became a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (Computer Science Honor Society)
- 2006 – Became the Second President of UPE at JSU
- 2007 – Voted “Most Outstanding Graduate” by the Faculty of the CS Department
- 2007 – Graduated Magna Cum Laude at Jacksonville State University with a Degree in Computer Science
- 2008 Received an Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award
- 2008 Became Vice President of UPE
- 2009 Graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Master’s in Computer Systems and Software Design with a 4.0 GPA
